The Indian Roadmaster Classic is based on the standard Roadmaster which the American manufacturer already sells here. The bike is powered by an air-cooled 1,811cc Thunder Stroke V-Twin that churns out 135Nm of torque at 2100rpm. Power is transferred to the rear wheel via a belt drive. Despite its retro-styling and design cues, the touring motorcycle is loaded with modern age electronics. The Roadmaster gets a tyre pressure monitoring system, heated seats and grips, adjustable floorboards along with LED lights and keyless ignition. It also gets a seven-inch touchscreen system that gets the brands Rider Command infotainment system which features USB, Bluetooth, radio and navigation. ABS is standard on the bagger. Despite the modern tech, the bike looks totally retro, an impression enhanced by the desert tan leather seats and saddlebags. The leather saddlebags and the top box can be detached when not needed and have a total capacity of 122 litres. This is lesser than the 142 litres on the standard Roadmaster.Available in three colour schemes- red/white, green/white and black, the bike competes against the Harley Davidson CVO Limited in India.
