The Reo Elite is the newest addition among the product offerings of Ampere Vehicles. The electric scooter has been priced at Rs 45,000 ex-showroom, Bengaluru, and has been positioned between the standard Reo and the Magnus in the companys product portfolio.
Looks-wise, the new Reo Elite follows a contemporary European design that has been designed keeping the urban millennials in mind. The scooter has sleek proportions with a light-weight construction. It features a bright LED digital display that packs all the necessary information. Powering the electric scooter is a 250-watt motor that draws power from a 48V-2Ah lead-acid battery. Once fully charged, the battery is capable of returning a range of 55km in the city and about 60km on the highway.
For cycle parts, the scooter is equipped with telescopic forks up front and twin shock absorbers at the rear. Braking is done by 110mm drum brakes at both ends. The Reo Elites kerb weight stands at 86kg with a maximum load-carrying capacity of 130kg. Ground clearance is set at 130mm. Ampere offers the Reo Elite with the choice of four glossy colour shades – Red, White, Blue and Black.
