Aprilia SXR 160 is a scooter available at a starting price of Rs. ₹ 1,43,767 in India. It is available in only 1 variant and 4 colours. The Aprilia SXR 160 is powered by 160.03cc BS6 engine which develops a power of 10.84 bhp and a torque of 11.6 Nm. With front disc and rear drum brakes, Aprilia SXR 160 comes up with anti-locking braking system. This SXR 160 scooter weighs 129 kg and has a fuel tank capacity of 7 liters. The Aprilia SXR 160 is built on the underpinnings of the SR160 but sports a maxi-scooter styling. The front end is inspired by the RS660supersport, with an aggressive-looking LED headlamp. It also gets a tall, tinted windscreen that completes its character. And with sharp lines flowing all along its bodywork, the Aprilia SXR 160 is an attractive-looking scooter.

Apart from the full-LED headlamp and LED tail light, the Aprilia SXR160 comes with features like a fully-digital instrument cluster- a first for an Aprilia scooter in India. It displays a speedometer, tachometer, fuel gauge, real-time fuel efficiency, fuel range, two trip meters, a clock, as well as a temperature indicator. It also offers USB charger, and lockable glove box.

The Aprilia SXR160 is be powered by a 160cc, single-cylinder, three-valve, air-cooled engine that churns out 10.84bhp of power at 7,600rpm and 11.6Nm of peak torque at 6,000rpm. This is the same motor that powers the Aprilia SR160. The scooter also uses the same suspension and braking hardware as the latter.

Aprilia is offering the SXR160 in a choice of four colours- white, blue, black and red. It has no direct competition although, when it comes to bodystyle, it goes up against the Suzuki Burgman Street 125.
