The Benelli TNT 300 has been finally launched in the Indian market, along with its other motorcycles. The TNT 300 is the most affordable Benelli motorcycle one can buy in India. The TNT 300 gets an aggressive styling and with the steel trestle frame is a piece of Italian artwork. The bike is known for its refined sports suspension, exceptional clutch control and comfortable ergonomic layout. It is slim, light and nimble making it easy to handle the bike for both, a novice rider or an experienced one. The motorcycle gets 17-inch aluminium alloy rims that feature a 120/70 sized tyre in the front and a 160/60 sized tyre at the rear. Interestingly, the Italian manufacturer is offering two variants of these bike.
One is available with MRF tyres, whereas the second one is available with Perelli tyres. The braking power comes from the 260mm twin wave disc at the front and a 240mm single disc at the back. The suspension set-up includes an inverted 41mm hydraulic damping shock absorber at the front fork, while the rear swing-arm gets an adjustable rear shock absorber offering spring preload and rebound adjustment.The TNT 300 is powered by a 300cc four valve DOHC inline two cylinder engine that produces 37bhp of power and 27Nm of torque.
This mill features an electronic Delphi fuel injection system and a timing system with double overhead camshafts. The motor comes mated to a six-speed manual transmission.In the international market, this motorcycle is only available in orange. However, the Indian market gets four colour options – Rosso (red), Verde (green), Bianco (white) and Nero (black). The TNT 300 is sold in India via completely-knocked-down (CKD) route and competes with the Kawasaki Z250.
