BMW Motorrad has introduced the BS6-compliant R 1250 GS in the Indian market. The motorcycle is available in the Pro variant only and it comes equipped with several features. The company has also revised the mechanical specifications to comply with the newest emission norms. The BS6-compliant R 1250 GS uses a 1,254cc, two-cylinder, Boxer engine with BMW ShiftCam tech that produces 134bhp of power at 7,750rpm and 143Nm of peak torque at 6,250rpm.
The styling cues include a rugged design that comprises an asymmetric headlight, a beak-style front, and an adjustable windscreen. Standard features on the motorcycle include full-LED lighting, an adaptive headlight, keyless ride, heated grips, a Bluetooth-enabled TFT colour display, a 12-volt socket, and a USB charging interface.
