BMW R1200 R (Style)

The BMW R1200 R is a streetfighter naked motorcycle from the BMW stable. It shares its construction with the R1200 RT but being a street motorcycle is a whole lot lighter than the RT.It gets the typical BMW streetfighter design with a lowered headlamp flanked by the beefy front forks and an upswept handlebar. The sculpted tank accommodates the knees and the footpegs are rearset for a sporty stance. The pillion seat is stepped up and gets grab rails.The R1200 RT is powered by 1170cc boxer-twin petrol engine that develops 124bhp of power and 125Nm of torque. The engine is now liquid cooled and is mated to a six-speed gearbox that sends power to the rear wheels through a shaft drive. It gets riding modes “ rain, road and standard, and can be toggled by the press of a button.It gets 17-inch alloys that are 120mm wide in the front and 180mm in the back. It gets Telelever suspension in the front and Paralever in the back with an optional semi-active electronic adjustment. It gets dual 320mm discs in the front with four piston callipers and a 265mm disc in the back equipped with ABS as standard. It gets an 18-litre fuel tank which makes it an able tourer as well. The R1200 R competes with the MV Agusta Brutale 1090 and the Triumph Speed Triple.
