CFMoto 650MT is a street bike available at a starting price of Rs. 5,29,000 in India. It is available in only 1 variant and 2 colours. The CFMoto 650MT is powered by 649cc BS6 engine which develops a power of 55.65 bhp and a torque of 54.4 Nm. With both front and rear disc brakes, CFMoto 650MT comes up with anti-locking braking system. This 650MT bike weighs 218 kg and has a fuel tank capacity of 18 liters. The CFMoto 650MT has received the BS6 upgrade, and the motorcycle has been launched in the Indian market. While the motorcycle retains the design from the BS4 model, the motor has received upgrades to comply with the latest emission norms.
The 649.3cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled, BS6-compliant motor produces 55.65bhp of power at 8,250rpm and 54.4Nm of peak torque at 7,000rpm. In comparison, the BS4 model was tuned to produce 60bhp and 56Nm. The maximum speed of the BS6 model is rated at 170kmph.
In terms of design, the 650MT retains the styling cues from the BS4 model. Thus, the motorcycle retains a vertically-stacked twin-pod headlight setup, a tall windscreen, a semi-fairing design, an 18-litre fuel tank, upright ergonomics, a step-up saddle, five-spoke split-style alloy wheels, and a compact exhaust canister. The CFMoto 650MT tips the weighing scale at 218kg (kerb).
The motorcycle will be available in two colours “ Matte Titanium Gray with Nebula Black and Athens Blue with Nebula Black. The feature list on the CFMoto 650MT BS6 includes full-LED lighting and a digital instrument cluster. The electronic rider aids include dual-channel ABS.
The hardware remains similar to the BS4 version, and the suspension tasks are handled by upside-down front forks and a rear mono-shock. The anchoring duties are handled by twin, petal-type rotors at the front and a single, petal-type disc at the rear. The 17-inch alloy wheels on the 650MT are wrapped in Metzeler-sourced tyres.
