The 1299 Panigale Final Edition is the last V-twin to be produced by Ducati before it gets replaced with the V4 powered superbike. The bike features the brands unique Tricolore livery and is powered by a 1299cc L-twin Superquadroengine that produces 206bhp and 142Nm of torque through a six-speed transmission. It features a lighter crankshaft with a larger crank pin and tungsten balancing pads, while the con-rods, like the intake-exhaust valves, are made of titanium. It features the same chassis and Ohlins suspension setup as the WSBK homologation special 1199 Panigale R, and also gets the titanium Akrapovic exhaust as the 1299 Superleggera. Electronics on the 1299 Final Edition are the best that Ducati can offer. The bike gets power modes, traction control, cornering ABS, wheelie control, engine braking and a quick-shifter and a six-axis IMU that keeps a leash over all the gizmos.Although the Panigale 1299 Final Edition is not a limited edition motorcycle, only a few units will be available for sale in India.
