The Ducati 1299 Panigale S is a performance-oriented version of the standard 1299 Panigale. Packing an extra helping of power and technology, the 1299 Panigale S is one of the most track-focussed street-legal motorcycles that you can buy. Aesthetically, a carbon fiber front mudguard and full LED headlights set the 1299 Panigale S apart from the standard bike. The Ducati 1299 Panigale S is based on the same monocoque chassis as its sensible sibling. Enclosed in the chassis is a Superquadro L-twin engine, which displaces 1285cc. The engine produces 202bhp and 145Nm of torque, and is mated to a six-speed transmission. The electronics package includes a quick shifter, power modes, cornering ABS and traction control. The 1299 Panigale S rides on 43mm fully adjustable Ohlins USD forks in the front and fully adjustable Ohlins monoshock with electronic compression and rebound damping adjustment at the rear.The Ducati 1299 Panigale S is available in a single red paint scheme. It rivals other litre-class superbikes like the BMW S1000RR, Aprilia RSV4 Factory, Yamaha YZF-R1M and the MV Agusta F4.
