Ducati Multistrada 950 is a bike available at a starting price of Rs. 15,49,000 in India. It is available in only 1 variant and 2 colours. The Ducati Multistrada 950 is powered by 937cc BS6 engine which develops a power of 113 bhp and a torque of 94 Nm. With both front and rear disc brakes, Ducati Multistrada 950 comes up with anti-locking braking system. This Multistrada 950 bike weighs 229 kg and has a fuel tank capacity of 20 liters. Ducati India has updated its product portfolio with the launch of the BS6-compliant Multistrada 950 S. The BS6-compliant model uses a 937cc, twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled, Testastretta 11-degree engine that produces 111.4bhp of maximum power at 9,000rpm and 96Nm of peak torque at 7,750rpm. The maintenance intervals are at 15,000km while the valve clearance inspection is required at every 30,000km.
In terms of design, the Multistrada 950 carries the bigger Multistrada motorcycle-inspired styling. The adventure tourer packs features such as a twin-pod LED headlight, beak design, and an adjustable windscreen. The saddle, rear grab rail, design of the exhaust, swingarm, and wheel sizes are influenced by the Multistrada 1260 Enduro. In India, the Multistrada 950 S is available in two colours, namely Ducati Red and GP White.
The S badge brings electronic rider aids such as Bosch Cornering ABS, Ducati Traction Control (DTC), Vehicle Hold Control (VHC), and the semi-active Ducati Skyhook Suspension (DSS). The motorcycle also gets Ducati Quick Shift up/down (DQS), Ducati Cornering Lights (DCL), and a Cruise Control system. Moreover, the Multistrada 950 S can now mount the Ducati Multimedia System (DMS) and also features a full-LED headlight, five-inch colour TFT display, a hands-free system, and backlit switchgear controls.
