With both front and rear disc brakes, Ducati Scrambler 1100 comes up with anti-locking braking system. This Scrambler 1100 bike weighs 206 kg and has a fuel tank capacity of 15 liters. The Scrambler 1100 is the biggest scrambler available in Ducatis line-up. It is positioned above the Scrambler 800 as it gets a more powerful motor, more features and bigger body proportions.
The Scrambler 1100 gets its power from a 1079cc L-Twin liquid-cooled engine that makes 86bhp at 7500rpm and peak torque of 88Nm at 4750rpm. This motor is mated to a six-speed gearbox that transfers power to the rear wheel via a chain drive.
This Ducati rides on fully-adjustable Marzocchi suspension at the front and pre-load and rebound adjustable Kayaba monoshock at the rear. The braking power comes from twin 320mm radially mounted Brembo Monobloc M4.32 calipers at the front and a single 245mm disc single-piston floating caliper at the back. The Scrambler 1100 tips the scale at 206kgs and has a fuel tank capacity of 15 litres.
In terms of modern equipment, the Scrambler 1100 gets multiple riding modes, cornering ABS and traction control system, ride-by-wire and full LED lights along with full colour TFT instrument cluster.
As of now, Ducati India sells the Scrambler 1100 as a completely-build-up (CBU) units and is available in two colour options “ black and yellow. It competes with the Triumph Scrambler 1200.
