Ducati Scrambler Icon (Standard)

Ducati Scrambler Icon is a bike available at a starting price of Rs. 8,89,000 in India. It is available in 2 variants and 3 colours with top variant price starting from Rs. ₹ 9,39,000. The Ducati Scrambler Icon is powered by 803cc BS6 engine which develops a power of 71.87 bhp and a torque of 66.2 Nm. With both front and rear disc brakes, Ducati Scrambler Icon comes up with anti-locking braking system. The Scrambler Icon has the same retro-character as teh previous models. Although it does get some modern elements like a LED DRL housed in a circular headlamp cowl. The alloys too have a machine-finish to them. Ducati is offering the 2021 version in an ‘Atomic Tangerine’ paint scheme that goes well with the black frame. It is also available in the classic yellow paint scheme that is unique to the Scrambler Icon.

Powering the 2019 Scrambler Icon is the same 803cc, air-cooled, L-twin engine as the previous bike. This motor produces 73bhp of power and 67Nm of torque and is comes mated to a six-speed gearbox. The Scrambler Icon is also equipped with a hydraulic clutch assembly for lighter clutch lever pulls. It also gets adjustable levers; both for the clutch and brake.

As for features, the Scrambler Icon comes with a digital instrument cluster. Besides that, Ducati has equipped the Icon’s electronics package with a cornering ABS unit. The motorcycle is also available in a Dark variant that comes in a Matte Black colour.

In terms of competition, the Scrambler Icon goes up against the Triumph Street Twin in India.
