The Supersport is a name that has been revived by the iconic Italian motorcycle manufacturer for a fully-faired motorcycle that isnt as committed as its track-bred brethren from the Panigale range. It sports a 937cc twin-cylinder engine that churns out 110bhp and 97Nm. It also has all the electronics that we now take for granted from a high-end Ducati, like multi-level traction control and ABS settings. The Supersport is a do-it-all road bike; it is capable of taking on the commute to work just as well as a spirited ride over the weekend. Sure, it wont be as good as one of the Panigales at a track day, but conversely it wont break your back on the ride to and from the track. Another thing it wont break is the bank “ it is priced nearly Rs 3 lakhs below than the most affordable Panigale. So if youre looking for a fully-faired Italian beauty that is relatively easy to ride, you need to set aside Rs 12.1 lakhs for the Ducati Supersport. You can also have a look at the Suzuki GSX-S1000F and the Kawasaki Ninja 1000 for their four-cylinder howl if you swing that way.
