Ducati XDiavel [2018-2019] (Standard)

The Diavel is the power cruiser you need to attack roads as per your mood, but if you dont want to sacrifice the handling of the Diavel but prefer a more laid-back style, the XDiavel is where it is at.Theres more than just an X-tra letter in the XDiavels name “ it has footpegs that are further forward, and a swept-back handlebar for a more traditional cruiser seating position. You can also choose different types of seats, but the customisation doesnt stop there.

The electronics allow you to choose from three different riding modes, thanks to the ride-by-wire throttle. The engine is all-new, and its tuned for more torque across the rev range. The peak is at a lowly 5000 rpm, which helps with quick overtakes out on the highway, and another function that the Diavel doesnt have yet: launch control.

That low-down torque doesnt mean that it has lost any appetite for revs, though “ it still remains manic if you choose to rev it to the redline. All this fury doesnt mean higher maintenance “ the XDiavel transmits its power to the rear wheel via belt drive, so maintenance is less compared to the chain-driven Diavel. The S model offers more premium wheels and a different seat as standard, and the paint scheme is gloss black, opposed to the Diavels matt black. It also offers a different infotainment system with Bluetooth as standard, for the premium over the regular XDiavel.There is no real competition at the price, but the Harley-Davidson V-Rod and the Yamaha V-Max are cut from the same cloth as the Ducati XDiavel.
