The Harley-Davidson Low Rider S is a cruiser motorcycle which is built around a Softail chassis. The American bike maker had launched the bike in April 2020 in India. As compared to the standard Low Rider, the S model gets a different styling, more premium components, and a higher price tag.
The Low Rider looks distinctive due to its unusual 19-16-inch alloy wheel combination. And despite being a cruiser, it sports a motocross-style handlebar and a single-piece seat. Harley has also given blacked-out treatment to all of its components for a modern custom bike appeal. It is available in two colour options including Vivid Black and Barracuda Silver.
Amongst the several differences between the standard and S trims is the presence of more premium suspension and braking hardware in the latter. It gets upside-down forks and dual discs up front. The S model also has lesser rake angle for sportier handling dynamics.
Powering the Harley-Davidson Low Rider S is a 1,868cc, V-twin engine which is called the Milwaukee-Eight mill and it is larger than the standards 1,746cc unit. It comes mated to a six-speed gearbox and churns out 155Nm at 3,250rpm.
