Hero Electric Dash is an electric scooter available at a starting price of Rs. 65,183 in India. It is available in only 1 variant and 1 colour. Hero Electric Dash generates 250 W power from its motor. With both front and rear drum brakes, Hero Electric Dash comes up with combined braking system of both wheels. The all-new Dash is the newest addition to Hero Electrics e-scooter portfolio. It is positioned between the Optima (single-battery variant) and the range-topping Photon model. The Dash follows a modern and sporty design with twin-pod LED headlamp with LED DRLs, small windscreen on the handlebar, chrome side mirrors and brushed levers. It also features a dual-tone colour scheme which makes it look attractive. Besides that, the e-scooter gets a digital instrument cluster, USB mobile charging port and a remote boot opening function.
For motive power, the Dash features a 250W BDLC motor that draws power from a 48v 28 Ah Li-Ion battery. With a charging time of four hours, the battery is rated to deliver a range of 60km. The scooter has a dry weight of 77kg and is capable of achieving a top speed of 25kmph. On the mechanical front, the e-scooter comes with telescopic forks up front and dual shock absorber at the rear. While braking is taken care of by drum brakes at both ends. The Dash rides on 13-inch magnesium alloy wheels shod with tubeless tyres.
