Hero Electric Optima is an electric scooter that is available in two variants “ City Speed (HX) and Comfort Speed (LX).
The LX variant is available with two battery options “ lead acid (LA) and lithium-ion (LI). Both variants of the LX range boast a top speed of 25kmph. In terms of range, the lead acid version is claimed to deliver a range of 50km per charge while the lithium-ion variant can cover 85km per charge.
The charging time for the lead acid variant is about eight to 10 hours. The lithium-ion version, on the other hand, takes four to five hours to fully recharge. Being a slow speed scooter, the Optima (LX) does not require a registration.
In terms of styling, the LX variant looks similar to the HX version. The sleek design is accompanied by features such as a halogen headlight, apron-mounted front blinkers, and a broad comfortable seat. The colour options include four choices “ Red, Grey, Blue, and White.
The hardware on the scooter includes telescopic front forks and dual rear shock absorbers. The anchoring duties are handled by drum brakes at both ends.
