The Hero Karizma ZMR is the Gurgaon-based two-wheeler makers flagship motorcycle. It was originally launched as just the Karizma in 2003 and has been on sale in various avatars until 2016, when it was dicontinued. The Karizma has just been relaunched in a BS-4 avatar, but the styling remains the same as the model that was discontinued a couple of years ago. This design wasnt very well accepted, but the company hopes to drive sales through value and its wide sales and service network. It is powered by a 223cc single cylinder fuel injected engine that produces 20bhp and 19.7Nm “ no changes in those figures. A five-speed gearbox and chain drive complete the transmission. The bike is underpinned by a diamond frame chassis with conventional suspension, telescopic front shocks at the front and gas-charged twin dampers at the rear. It gets a 276mm disc brake in front and 240mm disc brake at the rear. Standard features include a fully digital instrument cluster with dual trip meters as well as a clock. Hero offers the Karizma ZMR in four colours-red, black, white and orange. For Rs 2000 over the price of the standard ZMR, you can have one in a dual-tone paint scheme. The ZMR competes with the Bajaj Pulsar 220F, Bajaj Pulsar NS200 and TVS Apache RTR 200 4V.
