A modern iteration of Heros second most iconic motorcycle, the Splendor NXG was introduced in the middle of the previous decade and follows the same formula as the original motorcycle-cheap to run, good looking and easy to maintain. The Splendor NXG features a slightly more modern front cowl and colour schemes but retains the same overall shape that one can relate to the bike. It is available in four variants and with a single engine option. These models range from the base spoke wheels and kick-start to the alloy wheels with an electric start. The feature list and instrument console for the Splendor NXG is very basic in nature and contains just the essentials like a speedometer, fuel gauge with low fuel indicator and multi reflector headlight. It is available in two colours schemes- black with purple stripes and black with red stripes. The Splendor NXG much like the rest of Heros commuter range is powered by the single cylinder air cooled 97cc engine that produces 7bhp and 8Nm of torque. Power is transmitted to the rear wheel via a four-speed sequential gearbox. It competes with the Honda Dream Yuga, Suzuki Hayate, Bajaj Platina and the Yamaha Crux.
