Hero Super Splendor is a commuter bikes available at a starting price of Rs. 89,078 in India. It is available in 2 variants and 4 colours with top variant price starting from Rs. 81,992. The Super Splendor is powered by 124.7cc BS6 engine which develops a power of 10.72 bhp and a torque of 10.6 Nm. With both front and rear drum brakes, Hero Super Splendor comes up with combined braking system of both wheels. This Super Splendor bike weighs 122 kg and has a fuel tank capacity of 12 liters. The Super Splendor is a more premium, larger displacement version of the Splendor. Hero MotoCorp has powered it with a 125cc engine instead of the conventional 100cc and 110cc motors seen in its younger siblings. The Splendor has been selling steadily for Hero for about two decades now and as a brand, it has been important for the company. It is known for its durability, reliability and fuel efficiency.

Besides the larger displacement engine, the Super Splendor also gets slightly fancier styling over its smaller siblings. Replacing the previous double cradle frame is a new diamond chassis for improved maneuverability. Riding on 18-inch wheels, the Super Splendor is suspended by telescopic forks and dual shock absorbers while braking is handled by drum brakes at both ends with front disc available as an option.

The Super Splendor is powered by a 125cc, fuel-injected engine that produces 10.73bhp of power at 7,500rpm and 10.6Nm of torque at 6,000rpm. This engine was mated to a four-speed gearbox until Hero updated the bike for BS6 norms when a five-speed gearbox was introduced.
