Honda Africa Twin [2018-2019] (Standard)

The Africa Twin is Hondas flagship adventure-touring motorcycle. The 2019 Honda Africa Twin only gets a new paint scheme; Glint Wave Blue Metallic. It includes a metallic shade of blue along with white and red highlights. The 2019 Africa Twin also sports gold-finished spoke wheels.

Mechanically, there are no changes. The 2019 Africa Twin continues to be powered by a 998cc, parallel-twin engine mated to a six-speed automatic dual clutch transmission. The motor generates 88bhp of power at 7500rpm and 93Nm of torque at 6000rpm.

The Africa Twin rides on 21-inch front and 18-inch rear spoke wheels, shod with Bridgestone dual-sport tyres. The suspension setup consists of 45mm cartridge-type Showa inverted front forks and a Pro-Link rear monoshock. Stopping power is provided by dual 310mm petal discs at the front and a 256mm petal disc at the rear. ABS is offered as standard, and can be turned off for the rear wheel.

The Africa Twin competes against the Triumph Tiger 800 XCx and the BMW F850GS in India.
