Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade [2019] (Standard)

Bringing racetrack technology to the street, the CBR1000RR Fireblade is Hondas flagship sports bike for the masses. Now with the 2019 edition, the motorcycle has advanced in terms of power and technology. It gets an array of new features which include Wheelie Control, Rear Lift Control, Engine Braking, Riding Mode Select System, Power Selection and a new gyroscopic ABS system. The motorcycle also comes with a fully adjustable Showa suspension setup, optional quickshifter with downshift assist and an electronic steering damper. The flagship superbike comes with a colour TFT display for better rider to motorcycle communication.

The bike also comes with ride-by-wire feature which allows better control of the throttle depending on the riding mode selected. The motorcycle features an all-LED setup for the headlamp and tail lamp, including the indicators.The motorcycle is powered by a 999cc, inline 4-cylinder motor that is tuned to deliver 186.3bhp at 13,000rpm and 114Nm at 11,000rpm. The motor comes mated to a 6-speed constant mesh gearbox. With the use of magnesium and other lightweight materials, the new CBR1000RR weighs 195kg, which is about 15kgs lighter than the predecessor.

Apart from the standard model, Honda also has the CBR1000RR Fireblade SP which comes with additional equipment like semi-active Ohlins Electronic Control (S-EC) suspension at both ends and Brembo four-piston monobloc radial calipers with high-performance brake pads.The new Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade is available in two colour shades — Grand Prix Red and Matt Ballistic Black Metallic.In its segment, the Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade competes against the Suzuki GSX-R1000, Yamaha YZF-R1, Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R and the BMW Motorrad S1000RR.
