The Hyosung ST7 was the one of first motorcycles to be launched in India after the Korean manufacturer re-entered the Indian market in 2011. The ST7 is styled along the lines of old-school cruisers and is available with a host of accessories after local assembly at the joint facility with DSK Motors at Wai.The Hyosung ST7 gets a swept-back design, massive fenders, a huge fuel tank, loads of chrome, a simple round headlamp and step-up seats. The ST7 can also be equipped with accessories like a tall windscreen, saddlebags and a backrest for the pillion rider. These, combined with the comfortable seats, a massive 17-litre guel tank, floorboard and a heel-toe shifter make the ST7 suitable for long distance cruising.
The ST7 gets an analogue speedometer with a multi-function digital display. This instrument cluster is positioned on the fuel tank and because of the laidback riding position, gives the rider easy access to all the information. It gets 41mm telescopic forks in the front and preloaded hydraulic double shocks at the rear, while stopping power is provided by 300mm ventilated disc in the front and 270mm drums at the rear.It is powered by a four-stroke 678cc 90 degree V-twin engine which produces 58bhp and 57Nm of torque. The water-cooled engine is mated to a five-speed constant mesh gearbox with a wet multiplate clutch. The engine gets electronic fuel injection to make it a more reliable. The Hyosung ST7 is available in three paint schemes- red, black and white and goes up against Harley-Davidson Street 750.
