Key Specification & Features of Kawasaki Ninja 400 (Metallic Carbon Gray)
The Ninja 400 might be the successor to the Ninja 300 in the global market, but in India, it continues to be sold alongside the Ninja 300. Although the motorcycle carries a steep price tag, it does have takers in the market possibly because of its Ninja ZX-10R design inspiration that makes the bike look aggressive and attractive.
The Ninja 400 is equipped with LED units for the headlamp, position lamps, and tail lamps. The body panels on the Ninja 400 aren’t just bigger, but sharper too. The Ninja 400 is built around a new chassis which is lighter and stiffer than the Ninja 300, which is expected to offer great handling.
Powering the motorcycle is a bored-out 399cc parallel-twin motor that registers 47.5bhp and 38Nm of peak power. The engine comes mated to a six-speed gearbox and is assisted by a slipper clutch as standard fitment. For cycle parts, the Ninja 400 rides on 41mm telescopic forks for the front and a monoshock at the rear. Braking is taken care of by the 310mm front disc and 220mm disc at the rear. Dual-channel ABS is standard.
The Ninja 400 is available in a Lime Green paint scheme as standard but is also offered in limited units for two color schemes- Metallic Spark Black/Lime Green and Lime Green/Ebony (KRT Edition).
