The H2 SX SE is the higher spec version of the standard H2 SX. The bike gets a dedicated touring package as compared to the standard bike. The H2 SX SE follows the design language of the H2 superbike and looks as radical as the latter. It also sports a similar full-LED headlamp design and also gets cornering adaptive lamps on either side of the fairing. Being a tourer, the bike gets a relaxed riding position and a pillion seat that have been designed for comfortable long hauls.The bike uses a trellis frame that has been revised to handle the additional pillion and luggage weights. Powering the Kawasaki H2 SX is the retuned version of the H2s 998cc in-line four cylinder, supercharged engine. This unit produces 197bhp and 137Nm of torque. Braking duties are taken care of by Brembo units with twin 330mm front discs and a 250mm single rear disc. It rides on 43mm inverted forks up front and a KYB monoshock with preload adjustment at the rear.The bikes electronics package is similar to the standard bike and includes a Kawasaki Cornering Management Function, multi-level traction control system, cruise control along with engine braking control. However, the H2 SX SE additionally gets a bi-directional quickshifter, launch control system and two riding modes- sport and touring. The H2 SX sports an analogue tachometer with a TFT instrument cluster as compared to the H2 SXs analogue-LCD display. The bike does not have any direct competitors in the Indian market and is priced at a premium of Rs 5 lakhs over the standard model at Rs 26.8 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi)
