Kawasaki Versys 1000 [2018-2019] (Standard) Discontinued

The Versys 1000 has made a return to the Indian market, and it has received a major update. Announced at EICMA in November 2018, Kawasaki revealed that the Versys has got more than just a styling update. The chassis of the Versys 1000 continues to be based on the Ninja 1000, but the 1043cc four-cylinder engine has been updated to deliver 118bhp and 102Nm. The Versys has fully adjustable suspension both front and rear. The brakes are equipped with KIBS, which is Kawasakis version of ABS that is linked to the six-axis IMU. Yes, thats right “ the Versys 1000 now has a six-axis IMU that helps the brakes, engine and traction control come together. The SE with its electronic suspension control and Bluetooth connectivity will not come to the Indian market, but deliveries of the standard Versys 1000 should begin in the middle of 2019. It is available in two colours, white and black, and will compete against the likes of the BMW S1000 XR and Triumph Tiger 1200 on specs. However, it is closer in price to the Honda Africa Twin, Triumph Tiger 800 xR, Ducati Multistrada 950, and BMW F750 GS.
