India Kawasaki Motors launched the Z800 for the Indian market, it is the second motorcycle from Kawasakis Z family after the Z1000 and sixth from the companys portfolio to be officially launched in India. The first few lot of this motorcycle came through the completely-built-up (CBU) route while now they come through the completely-knocked-down (CKD) route from Thailand.The Kawasaki Z800 is the Z750 replacer and gets styling cues from the elder sibling – the Z1000.
The Z800 features an aggressive front cowl and a sharp under-cowl. Though it doesn’t look as mean as the 2014 Z1000, it surely attracts many enthusiasts in India. The bike features full digital instrumentation displaying tons of information.The Kawasaki Z800 is powered by the liquid-cooled inline-four 806cc engine that churns out 113PS of peak power at 10,200rpm and 83Nm of torque at 8,000rpm. The engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox and the bike has a top speed of 233kmph. While the Kawasaki Z800 is available overseas in three different colour options, the bike is offered in India in two colours only “ Red/Black and Green/Black.
