As the modern classic bike in the Moto Guzzi portfolio, the Eldorado is one of the most noteworthy models to roll out of the companys Mandello factory in Italy. Harking back to the original Eldorado police bike from the early 1970s, the Eldorado is the most expensive Moto Guzzi model on sale in the Indian market.Based on the California 1400s platform, the Eldorado combines traditional styling with modern technology, offering the best of both worlds.
The low-slung stance and the laid-back riding position make it perfect for long hauls. The healthy dose of chrome on the exhaust, handlebar, mirrors, front forks, wheels and the engine give the Eldorado the right amount of bling. Features like the LED lamps, digital console, ride-by-wire throttle and traction control give it a modern touch.Propelling this behemoth is a 1380cc V-twin engine, which delivers 95bhp and 120Nm of torque. This engine is mated to a six-speed transmission, and transfers power to the rear wheel through a shaft drive. The ride-by-wire throttle allows the motorcycle to be ridden in any of the three riding modes – Turismo, Veloce and Pioggia. The Eldorado competes with other traditional cruisers like the Indian Chief Classic, Harley-Davidson Road King and the Triumph Thunderbird LT.
