The MV Agusta Brutale 1090 RR is a performance-oriented version of the litre-class streetfighter “ the Brutale 1090. Specced up with premium suspension and braking hardware, the Brutale 1090 RR is a motorcycle meant to be as suitable on a race track as it would be on the street. The sculpted fuel tank, single-sided swingarm and the exposed frame give the Brutale 1090 RR the distinct look of an exotic streetfighter. It is built around a steel tubular trellis frame with a single-sided aluminium swingarm. Powering the Brutale 1090 RR is a revised version of the MV Agusta F4s inline four-cylinder engine. Displacing 1078cc, the engine delivers 158bhp and 100Nm of torque through a six-speed cassette style gearbox. MV Agusta claims a top speed of 265kmph for the Brutale 1090.The Brutale 1090 RR also gets ride-by-wire throttle and an eight-level traction control system, and can be ridden in two riding modes “ rain and sport. The suspension setup is made up of adjustable Marzocchi USD forks at the front and a progressive Sachs monoshock in the rear. The brake setup consists of Brembo 320mm double discs at the front and a Nissin single disc in the rear and comes with ABS as standard. The MV Agusta Brutale 1090 RR is imported as a completely built unit (CBU) from Italy. It is available in two metallic paint schemes “ black and grey. It competes with other litre-class streetfighters like the BMW S1000R, Aprilia Tuono 1100 V4 and the Ducati Monster 1200S.
