When Kinetic Group announced its plan to bring the iconic MV Agusta brand to India, there was a lot of excitement in the market. And the MV Agusta is one of the first ones to debut in India.Based on the MV Agusta F4, the Brutale 1090 was developed to take care of naked street fighter motorcycling enthusiasts. With the kind of design language used on this motorcycle, the Brutale 1090 is easily one of the best looking motorcycles available today. The bike sports a trellis frame with a single-sided aluminium swingarm. The Brutale 1090 is powered by a 1078cc heart that churns out 142bhpand comes mated to a six-speed cassette style gearbox. MV Agusta claims a top speed of 265kmph for the Brutale 1090.
This motorcycle is loaded with electronics like two riding modes, ride-by-wire throttle and an eight-level traction control system. Like the MV Agusta F4, the Brutale gets adjustable Marzocchi USD telescopic hydraulic front forks and a progressive Sachs monoshock in the rear. The brake setup consists of Brembo 320mm double discs at the front and a Nissin single disc in the rear. The Bosch ABS system comes with rear wheel lift-up mitigation system which, as the name suggests, stops the rear tyre from lifting off under hard braking.Kinetic will sell the Brutale 1090 as a completely-built-up unit for now, till its semi-knocked-down facility is operational. The company is currently in the process of setting up showrooms under the brand name Motoroyale across major cities in India.
