MV Agusta Dragster 800 RR (Standard) Discontinued

The MV Agusta Dragster 800RR is the performance oriented version of the Brutale 800 which is also available in India. In terms of design, it gets sharper tank side panels and newly-designed triple-exhausts that make the bike look more aggressive. Furthermore, the Dragster 800RR rides on spoke wheels in place of the alloy wheels on the Brutale 800.

Powering the Dragster 800RR is a 798cc, inline-three cylinder engine similar to the Brutale. However, with a higher compression ratio and revised dimensions, the Dragster 800 RRs engine produces a higher 140bhp of power and 87Nm of torque. It comes mated to a six-speed gearbox along with a slip-assist clutch. And with a kerb weight of 168kg, the Dragster 800 RR is also 8kg lighter than the Brutale.

In terms of electronics, the bike comes with eight-stage traction control, ride-by-wire throttle system and Bosch 9 Plus ABS. It is underpinned by a steel trellis frame which is suspended by upside down forks up front and a monoshock at the rear. Braking is handled by dual 320mm discs with four-piston calipers at the front and a 220mm disc with dual-piston calipers at the rear.

MV Agusta is offering the motorcycle in three variants which include the Dragster 800RR, Dragster 800 RR America and the Dragster 800RR Pirelli edition. The Dragster 800 RR America and Pirelli are special edition motorcycles and differentiate themselves with unique paint schemes and graphics.
