When exotic isnt good enough for you, you aim for exclusive “ and you cant get much more exclusive than the MV Agusta F4 RC. First, rumour has it that the company had initially allotted only one motorcycle for the Indian market. But you can be sure that youll probably never see one on the road in the country, theyll be that rare. Second, the kind of kit you get with the F4 RC beggars belief. Of course, its price also beggars belief, but along with the road-legal motorcycle, MV will also provide a race kit that includes a lightweight single-exit exhaust system, pillion seat cowl, a race-spec ECU and magnesium covers for the engine. The engine in road-going spec makes 205bhp (the standard F4 makes only 195bhp) and with the race ECU, it gets bumped up to 212bhp. The race kit also drops the bike’s weight down to 175kg, which means its top speed is a claimed 302kph in race spec. The F4 RC is the kind of motorcycle you want to buy if you want an exotic hypersport that youd like to take racing on some days. However, if you want something similar but dont want the exclusivity or dont want to pony up that many greenbacks, look at the Yamaha YZF-R1M and the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10RR. They wont get you this sort of exclusivity or attention, though.
