2023 BMW S 1000 RR launched in India

2023 BMW S 1000 RR launched in the Indian market, priced from Rs. 20.25 lakhs (all prices, ex-showroom). The bike is available in three variants – Standard, Pro and Pro M Sport.

The BMW S 1000 RR Standard variant is priced at Rs. 20.25 lakhs, Pro is priced at Rs. 22.15 lakhs and Pro M Sport is priced at Rs. 24.45 lakhs.

Bookings are open across all BMW Motorrad dealerships in India. The motorcycle will be imported to the country directly via CBU. Deliveries to commence from February 2023.

It comes in three colour options – Black Storm Metallic, Passion and Light White Uni / M Motorsport. The bike gets winglets up front that offer more downforce. Mild tweaks at the rear to make it look more sporty.

The bike is powered by the same 999cc 4-cylinder engine that produces 210 HP at 13,750 RPM and 113 Nm at 11,000 RPM. While the torque remains unchanged, it gets 3 HP more than the outgoing model.

It does 0-100 km/hr acceleration in 3.2 seconds while the top speed is 303 km/hr. It gets four riding modes on offer – Rain, Road, Dynamic and Race.

Other features include Launch Control, Pit Lane Limiter, Hill Start Control Pro, Dynamic Traction Control, Dynamic Damping Control, ABS Pro with new Brake Slide Assist, etc.
