Kawasaki Ninja 500, Z 500 pricing confirmed under £6,000
A few months after the announcement of the discontinuation of the Ninja 400 and Z 400, Kawasaki has now revealed the pricing for the new Kawasaki Ninja 500 and Z 500 models. Both the Ninja 500 and Z 500 are available in standard and SE versions, with the SE variant being slightly more expensive.
The standard version of the Z 500 starts at £5,699, while the SE version is priced at £6,049. As for the Ninja 500, the standard model is priced at £5,999, and the SE version will cost £6,499. These new models are set to be released in March.

For instance, Honda uses its 1,084cc parallel twin-cylinder engine in multiple models, and Kawasaki has also utilized the powertrain of the new Kawasaki Z 7 Hybrid in the Kawasaki Ninja 7 Hybrid. Although the exact displacement of the new twin-cylinder engine used in the Ninja 500 and Z 500 has not been disclosed, we do know that it is water-cooled and features an Assist and Slipper clutch in both models.

The power and torque outputs are currently unknown, but Kawasaki has confirmed that the engine is A2-compliant, meaning it will not exceed 47bhp. Both the Ninja 500 and Z 500 share the same trellis frame and LCD display.
Additionally, they can be equipped with an Ergo-Fit seat, which raises the seat height by 30mm. Furthermore, there will be ‘Special Edition’ variants available for both models.
These variants will feature a TFT display, connectivity to the Kawasaki Rideology app, and a USB-C outlet. The Ninja 500 SE will also include Kipass keyless ignition. The ‘Special Edition’ variants will also offer different paint options compared to the standard versions.
