The RX125 is powered by a newly developed single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that generates 15bhp at 10,000rpm and 11.2Nm of maximum torque at 8,000rpm. This engine is mated to a six-speed transmission, enabling the motorcycle to provide seamless power delivery for both city riding and light off-road adventures. Designed for adaptability, the RX125 is equipped with 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wheels fitted with dual-purpose tires, while the SX125 features a 17-inch wheel configuration with tires optimized for urban use.

Aprilia has designed the RX125 and SX125 with simplicity in mind, prioritizing user-friendliness and durability. The SX125 is equipped with a larger 300mm front brake disc, whereas the RX125 comes with a 260mm front disc. Both models utilize a 220mm rear disc with a floating caliper, ensuring sufficient braking power for these lightweight motorcycles, which weigh 134kg. With a 7-liter fuel tank, the RX125 is ideally suited for city commuting and short trips.
