Aprilia RS 457 revealed, more likely to launch throughout MotoGP Bharat later this month
Aprilia has unveiled the new RS 457, and seeing as India’s first-ever MotoGP race is not too far away, highlights the connection between Aprilia’s racing experience and the development of this motorbike.
Which is expected to occur across the MotoGP Bharat later this month.
The bike is developed at Aprilia’s headquarters in Noale, Italy and, in parallel, by the test workforce in Baramati, within the state of Maharashtra, India.
It will be manufactured in Piaggio India’s plant in Maharashtra.
The bike seems quite sporty and aggressive, following the design DNA of its elder siblings.

The bike has got a twin-pod LED cluster up front with some aerodynamic panels.
The aspect profile reveals the performance-oriented stance of the bike, boasts a well sculpted fuel tank and a racy trying cut up seat setup which provides an impression of a single seat.

The Aprilia RS 457 draws power from a 457 cc liquid-cooled, parallel-twin, DOHC, four-valve engine tuned for 47 bhp. The motor gets a 270-degree connecting rod assembly for the right exhaust note.
The bike has a dry weight of 159 kg and wet weight of 175 kg. It comes with 41 mm USD front forks with 120 mm of journey and preload adjust ability.
Rear will get pre-load adjustable mono shock with steel swing arm and 130 mm wheel travel.

Braking responsibility is dealt with by 320 mm front disc with a ByBre radial-mount 4-piston caliper and ByBre caliper brakes on the rear with 220 mm steel disc.
It’s geared up with two-channel ABS system with dual map of use. The 17-inch rims mount 110/70 tyres on the front and 150/60 on the rear.
The bike will get Experience by Wire system with three totally different using modes that intervene on power and torque delivery and traction management, adjustable to 3 ranges and that will also be disabled. The quick shifter will be provided as an accessory.
Aprilia is providing the bike with 5-inch TFT colour instrument cluster and the handlebar controls are backlit.
