Recently, BMW Motorrad showcased its newest adventure bike concept, the F 450GS, at EICMA 2025. This innovative model is anticipated to enter the European market in early 2024. Developed by BMW Motorrad in Germany, the F 450GS concept and its 450cc platform were entirely designed by their in-house team. However, production will be carried out by TVS in India, with the final model expected to be distributed worldwide. BMW aims for this 450cc range to bridge the gap between its current 310 and 900 models, appealing to riders seeking a lighter and more approachable adventure motorcycle.

The F 450GS concept features a compact and nimble design that preserves the classic GS aesthetic, prioritizing reduced weight and rider comfort. It is equipped with a 450cc parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine that produces 48bhp and 45Nm of peak torque, coupled with a six-speed transmission. The F 450GS is engineered for adaptability, offering both highway performance and off-road capabilities. Notable features include fully adjustable USD forks, off-road tires, and cutting-edge technology such as a 6.5-inch TFT display and lean-sensitive ABS. Furthermore, various riding modes are available to optimize performance across different terrains.

In addition to the F 450GS, BMW intends to enhance the 450cc platform, with the goal of phasing out the existing 310 models.
