Brixton Motorcycles to Unveil New Neo-Retro Models in India

Brixton Motorcycles is set to introduce four new models in India this festive season, including the Cromwell 1200 and Crossfire 500 series. This launch is expected to create a buzz among motorcycle enthusiasts across the country, as the company brings its neo-retro designs and advanced performance to the Indian market.

The Cromwell 1200, a neo-retro roadster, stands out with its 1200cc engine and eye-catching features such as a round LED headlight, sculpted fuel tank, and flat single-piece seat. Its vintage appeal is enhanced by twin peashooter exhausts, giving it a distinct look. For those seeking a more rugged design, the Cromwell 1200X offers a scrambler variant with additional off-road-friendly details like block pattern tyres, a ribbed seat, and fork gaiters.Both the Cromwell 1200 and 1200X are powered by a 1222cc twin-cylinder engine, producing 83PS at 6550rpm and 108Nm at 3100rpm. The bikes also feature a 6-speed gearbox, offering a dynamic yet smooth riding experience. Riders can enjoy the convenience of cruise control and two riding modes—Eco and Sport—depending on their preferences. The all-LED lighting setup adds to the modern touch, while the negatively-lit round LCD instrument console provides essential ride data.

On the suspension front, the Cromwell models are equipped with KYB telescopic forks and a KYB monoshock, both of which are preload-adjustable. With 18-inch front and 17-inch rear spoke wheels, the Cromwell 1200 rides on tubeless road tyres, while the 1200X sports block-pattern tyres suited for off-road terrain. Both bikes come with a 16-litre fuel tank, ensuring good range for long-distance journeys.These models will be assembled as CKD (Completely Knocked Down) units at KAW Motors’ facility in Kolhapur, Maharashtra. While the Cromwell 1200 is priced around Rs 9.99 lakh in Europe and the 1200X at Rs 10.32 lakh, Indian pricing is expected to be slightly higher.With this launch, Brixton Motorcycles aims to cater to the growing demand for stylish, high-performance bikes, offering a unique blend of classic looks and cutting-edge technology.
