CS Santosh To Leave Hero for Dakar Rally?
Hero Moto Sports handle on Instagram posted this story which said, ” Thank You CS, for six amazing years of racing the limits together! We wish you all success in your next journey, Love, Hero Motosports Family”. Now, this clearly indicates that the two have parted ways. But we are waiting for an official confirmation from the rider. He spent much of this year recovering from a serious accident that he encountered at the Dakar Rally last year (2021) after which he was sent into an induced coma for several days.
After recovering, he has lost memory of a lot of events in his life due to head trauma. But he is excited to be a part of the MotoGP that is slated to take place at the Buddh International Circuit in Uttar Pradesh next year (2023). We might see him in action there. Until then, he might join Royal Enfiled to participate in the Dakar Rally with the rally-spec RE Himalayan 450 Raid that is about to launch soon in our market. The special rally edition will most likely be unveiled in a couple of years.
