Ducati Streetfighter V2 Launched in India at ₹17.5 Lakh

Ducati has launched the new Streetfighter V2 in India at ₹17.50 lakh (ex-showroom). The bike sits between Ducati’s smaller naked models and the more aggressive Streetfighter V4, offering a balanced mix of performance, technology, and everyday usability.

Design & Road Presence

The Streetfighter V2 follows Ducati’s “Fight Formula” — sharp body lines, muscular tank, exposed frame, wide handlebars, and a compact tail section. Its stance is aggressive yet refined, making it stand out as a premium, high-performance streetfighter.

Engine & Performance

Powering the bike is an 890cc Superquadro V-twin engine producing:

  • 120 hp @ 10,750 rpm
  • 93.3 Nm @ 8,250 rpm

The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox and a bi-directional quickshifter for smooth upshifts and downshifts. The bike offers strong mid-range performance, making it enjoyable for both urban riding and open highways.

Chassis, Suspension & Brakes

The motorcycle uses an aluminium monocoque frame, keeping it light and agile.
Key components include:

  • Fully adjustable 43mm front forks
  • Adjustable rear monoshock
  • Twin 320mm front discs with radial calipers
  • Cornering ABS
  • Dry weight: 178 kg

The setup provides confident handling, sharp braking, and stability at high speeds.

Electronics & Features

The Streetfighter V2 is equipped with Ducati’s advanced electronics suite, displayed on a 5-inch TFT screen:

  • Cornering ABS
  • Traction control
  • Wheelie control
  • Engine brake control
  • Riding modes: Race, Sport, Road, Wet
  • Quickshifter (up/down)

These features make the bike safer and more predictable, especially for riders upgrading from mid-segment motorcycles.

Tyres & Colour

It comes with performance tyres on alloy wheels:

  • Front: 120/70 ZR17
  • Rear: 180/60 ZR17

For India, Ducati offers the bike in Ducati Red.

Final Verdict

At ₹17.5 lakh, the Ducati Streetfighter V2 delivers a strong combination of power, technology, and everyday practicality. It offers superbike-like excitement without being overly aggressive, making it one of the most well-balanced premium naked motorcycles available in India.
