Ducati Updates Multistrada V4 S For 2022, Has Surprise In Store For Existing Owners
The 2022 Ducati Multistrada V4 S gets a new colour and electronic updates
Italian bike manufacturer Ducati has revealed the set of updates it has given its Multistrada V4 S performance adventure motorcycle for 2022.
The 2022 Multistrada V4 S gains a new Iceberg White livery in addition to the existing Aviator Grey and Ducati Red colour options. The new colour will be available from March 2022.
Apart from increasing the number of paint options for the bike, Ducati has also worked on its electronics. The company claims to have made improvements to the bike’s infotainment and human-machine interface (HMI).
But the biggest update is the inclusion of a new semi-automatic function for the 2022 Multistrada V4 S’ electronic suspension. Named ‘Minimum Preload’ the feature allows the rider to reduce the height of the motorcycle when necessary.
Here’s where things get even better. These above-mentioned updates, while standard for the 2022 Ducati Multistrada V4 S, will be offered to customers who already own the bike free of charge.
Ducati will contact those customers individually and invite each and every one of them to bring their prized toy to their nearest authorised service centre in order to receive the updates.
What’s more, the Bologna-based bike manufacturer has also made improvements to the Ducati Performance accessories line which now also comprises a lowered suspension kit (seat height drops by 20 mm).
Further, the Italian firm will from now on also sell a set of aluminium top case and side panniers (117 litres of total carrying capacity) for the bike from April and waterproof internal bags (with handles) for the cases.
No other changes have been made to the Multistrada V4 range. The bikes continue to be powered by the manic 1158cc liquid-cooled engine that makes 170 HP and 125 Nm of torque.
In addition, all of the features, including the TFT dash, front and rear radar system, along with a whole host of the latest safety tech will continue to be offered.
