Harley-Davidson X 440 India launch in July

Harley-Davidson X 440 first official image revealed. The bikes is the first project from the Harley-Davidson and Hero MotoCorp partnership. It is going to be offered within the fiercely competitive mid-capacity section, going head-to-head with the Royal Enfield Classic 350.

Design

The Harley-Davidson X 440 reveals a neo-retro styling, that includes a circular LED headlamp, a teardrop-shaped fuel tank and a single-piece seat. The flat handlebar with forward-set footpegs would possibly provide a comfortable riding position for long rides. It will get a single side-mounted exhaust.

Performance

Whereas detailed specifications of the X 440’s engine are but to be unveiled, it’s expected that the numbers on paper will give a tough struggle to the Royal Enfield Classic 350. The X 440 is powered by a 440cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled motor.

Chassis

The X 440 employs a conventional tubular chassis. Its entrance end is supplied with upside-down forks, whereas it will get twin shock absorbers on the rear. The American bike maker goals to strike a steadiness between agility and stability with this new motorbike.

Wheels

The bike comes with 18-inch alloys on the front and 17-inch on the rear. It’s geared up with disc brakes, supported by dual-channel ABS.

Price

Harley-Davidson X 440 is anticipated to come back within the price range of Rs. 2.50 – 3 lakhs (ex-showroom). It’s likely to be launched by July this year.
