Hero MotoCorp is reportedly launching a new two-wheeler later this month. Royal Enfield appears to have hit the ball out of the park with Classic 350. The bike has proved to be a phenomenon amongst Indian consumers.

In November 2023, RE bought 30K+ Classic 350 in India. That’s a sizeable chunk. A bit that India’s biggest 2W manufacturer, Hero MotoCorp, is eyeing with a brand new 440cc bike.

Hero Classic 350 Rival Launch Soon?

Becoming a member of the long line of Classic 350 rivals is Hero MotoCorp. The road consists of Jawa and Yezdi bikes, Honda CB350 lineup, Harley-Davidson X440 and Triumph Speed 400. Hero’s new Classic 350 rival will share the identical 440cc platform that was co-developed with Harley-Davidson and seen on X440.

There may be a small difference in engine tuning to put Harley-Davidson X440 because the extra premium and performant machine than Hero’s offering. This should allow Hero MotoCorp to undercut X440 and most of its rivals by a big margin. Hero’s production capability is among the largest on the earth and with that, the company might establish an aggressive price level.

Contemplating X440 is already a retro-style bike, we expect Hero to place its motorcycle barely differently. We’re talking about slightly toned-down design attributes and fancy finishes for sheet steel. Probably reduce down on a few options too. The name Hurikan 440 was recently trademarked by Hero MotoCorp and has a great chance of ending up on its Classic 350 rival.

Hurikan 440 Name Final?

The anticipation surrounding the official name of Hero’s new bike is heightened by the current trademarking of “Hurikan 440.” This distinctive and trademarked identify not only adds a component of exclusivity but also contributes to the general excitement leading as much as the official launch.

Whereas the performance metrics of the Hurikan 440 could fall barely below these of the Harley-Davidson X440, the bike is expected to offer a compelling bundle.
