Hero MotoCorp is set to launch the Karizma XMR 250 in India, anticipated for November 2024, with an estimated price range of ₹ 2,00,000 to ₹ 2,20,000. Positioned to compete with the Honda CB300F Flex-Fuel, Hero Karizma XMR 210, and Zontes 350X, this new model will introduce Hero’s quarter-litre sportbike. Following this, the Karizma 400 is also expected in early 2025, expanding Hero’s lineup further.

Distinctive Design Inspired by Hero’s 2.5R Xtunt Concept
The Karizma XMR 250 takes design inspiration from the Hero 2.5R Xtunt Concept with updates in bodywork and styling. Design patents suggest the new model will feature a modern, sporty aesthetic with an upgraded front fender, fuel tank, and tail section, while retaining some similarities in the headlight assembly with the XMR 210. This styling approach distinguishes the Karizma XMR 250, making it a fresh offering in Hero’s lineup.

Engine and Performance Features for the Karizma XMR 250
Powering the XMR 250 is a 250cc, liquid-cooled engine, anticipated to deliver more power than the XMR 210 and align with other bikes in the 250cc class. This engine pairs with a six-speed transmission and an assist and slipper clutch for smooth performance. Built on a tubular trellis frame, it will feature upside-down front forks, a monoshock rear suspension, and 17-inch wheels similar to the XMR 210. With an expected unveiling at EICMA 2024, the Hero Karizma XMR 250 is positioned as a strong competitor in India’s sportbike market.
