Although the Hero brand may not be widely recognized in the UK, the Mavrick 440’s Harley-Davidson DNA can be advantageous. By introducing the Mavrick 440 at a competitive price point, Hero can provide customers with even more value.

While the official pricing for the UK market has not been announced, it is expected to be cheaper than the Triumph Speed 400. In India, the Hero Mavrick is priced at Rs 1.99 lakh, which is approximately £1,900.

In the UK, the Hero Mavrick will specifically cater to A2 motorcycle license holders, who are individuals aged 19 or older. The A2 category requires a minimum engine displacement of 395cc and a maximum engine output of 47 bhp.

The Mavrick is equipped with a 440cc air-cooled engine with an oil cooler. It delivers a maximum power of 27 bhp and a peak torque of 36 Nm. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox and features an assist and slipper clutch, which will be beneficial for new A2 license holders in the UK.

Rival Triumph Speed 400 comes with a 398.15 cc, liquid cooled, DOHC, single cylinder engine that produces 39.5 bhp and 37.5 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed gearbox.

The bike features 43 mm USD Big Piston forks, while the Mavrick has standard telescopic front forks. Royal Enfield Bullet 350 also has standard telescopic forks, with the only difference being that the Mavrick has 43 mm forks, whereas the Bullet 350 has 41 mm forks. Both motorcycles offer 130 mm of travel for the front suspension, while the Triumph Speed 400 provides 140 mm of travel.

Royal Enfield Bullet 350 is powered by a 349cc, single cylinder, air-oil cooled engine that delivers 20.2 bhp and 27 Nm of torque, coupled with a 5-speed constant mesh gearbox.

Hero has selected MotoGB as its distribution partner in the UK. While the UK-spec version is expected to be similar to the Indian model, there might be variations in color choices.
