Hero Xpulse 200T Facelift Spied Undisguised, Gets Body-coloured Visor
Hero Xpulse 200T facelift gets chunky fork boots and body-coloured headlight visor, launch could be soon
Hero Xpulse 200T facelift has been spied undisguised for the first time and the launch could be soon. It’s a big leap forward in terms of design when compared to the existing model and looks very attractive especially in the red shade.
The biggest change is the addition of a new body-coloured headlight visor and chunky fork boots. Both not only render a sporty look upfront but also offer a big bike feel, read Ducati. The front crash guards get a different design.
While the rest of the aspects of the bike couldn’t be made out from the lone picture, what has been confirmed is the new dual-tone red shade that sports gloss black graphics. The front petal disc, indicators, and the headlight are a direct lift from the outgoing model.
The exhaust gets a grey finish as against the gold finish of the outgoing model. There are some red bits on the engine head like the recently launched Xpulse 200 4V Rally Edition which means the bike could also be a new edition of the sport tourer.
The facelifted version is expected to carry forward the existing 200 cc oil-cooled powertrain that churns out 17.8 HP at 8500 RPM and 16.15 Nm at 6500 RPM, mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The bike sits on a diamond frame.
The outgoing model features 37 mm shocks upfront with 276 mm disc brake. At the rear, there’s a monshock and a 220 mm disc. The seat height is 800 mm while the ground clearance is 178 mm. The kerb weight is 154 kg.
When launched, it will compete against the likes of the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V, Bajaj Pulsar N250, Yamaha FZ25, etc.
