Honda has officially opened bookings for its first electric scooters in India—the Activa e: and the QC1. These EVs can now be reserved in key cities like Bengaluru, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Delhi, and more by paying a nominal booking amount of ₹1,000.

Activa e: Flagship Electric Scooter

The Activa e:, Honda’s flagship EV, features a clean and appealing design with advanced technology. It offers a TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity, navigation, and call alerts in its top variant. Powered by two 1.5kWh swappable batteries with a total capacity of 3kWh, it boasts a 102 km range on a single charge. The batteries can be swapped at Honda’s charging stations, with plans to expand the network across India.

With a 6kW motor, the Activa e: accelerates from 0-60 km/h in 7.3 seconds and supports three riding modes—Eco, Standard, and Sport. It achieves a top speed of 80 km/h.

Honda QC1: Budget-Friendly Alternative

The QC1 is a cost-effective electric scooter equipped with a 1.8kW BLDC motor and two ride modes—Econ and Standard. It has a more conservative top speed of 50 km/h, making it ideal for everyday commutes.

Availability and Launch

Honda will announce the prices for both models soon, with deliveries expected to commence in February 2025. These scooters are designed to cater to both premium and budget-conscious consumers, marking a significant step in Honda’s EV journey.
