Honda Launches CB300F Flex Fuel in India with E85 Compatibility

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has introduced the CB300F Flex Fuel in the Indian market, which is compliant with E85 fuel standards, consisting of 85 percent ethanol and 15 percent gasoline. The pricing remains consistent at ₹1.70 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), identical to the previous year’s model. This latest addition from Honda is part of a comprehensive initiative to integrate environmentally friendly technologies into its vehicles, reflecting the increasing focus on sustainable fuel alternatives in India. Flex fuel vehicles such as the CB300F are engineered to diminish dependence on conventional fossil fuels and reduce emissions while maintaining equivalent performance levels.

Even with the flex-fuel enhancement, the 2024 Honda CB300F preserves all features and specifications from its predecessor. The motorcycle’s striking front design, featuring a full LED headlight and a robust, aggressive body structure, remains unchanged. It continues to exude a sporty appearance with an emphasis on performance. The technical components are also intact, showcasing a sturdy digital console, full LED illumination, and vital safety features such as traction control and ABS. These attributes are intended to improve both the riding experience and the safety of the rider, ensuring that the CB300F remains a comprehensive option for enthusiasts.

The CB300F is equipped with a 293.5cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine that produces 24.5bhp of power and 25.9Nm of torque, coupled with a six-speed transmission. This engine configuration offers sufficient power for city commuting as well as weekend highway excursions, characterized by smooth power delivery and robust mid-range torque. The motorcycle’s performance remains steady despite its new ability to operate on ethanol-blended fuel. The suspension system is also preserved, featuring golden USD front forks and a monoshock at the rear. Braking is managed by disc brakes at both ends, providing the bike with reliable and efficient stopping capabilities.

Honda presents the CB300F Flex Fuel in Sports Red and Mat Axis Grey, merging style with eco-friendly technology and performance.
