Honda Shine 100 launched with a price tag of Rs. 64,900 (ex-showroom Mumbai). It’s Honda’s new 100cc commuter bike to compete with the Hero Splendor.

The Japanese bike maker is accepting bookings for the Shine 100 beginning today. The manufacturing of the bike will begin by next month. Deliveries of the bike will start from the month of May 2023.

When it comes to styling, it looks like a fundamental commuter bike but with a bit of a contemporary touch. It comes with 5-spoke black alloy wheels, sporty cowl, aluminium grab rail, and so forth.

Honda Shine 100 will be available in five color options – Black with red stripes, Black with blue stripes, Black with green stripes, Black with gold stripes and Black with grey stripes.

The Shine 100 is powered by a 99.7cc, OBD2 compliant, PGM-FI engine producing 7.5 BHP and 8.05 Nm of torque.

It’s got a 677 mm long seat, 786 mm seat height, facet stand with engine inhibitor, combi brake system, 168 mm ground clearance, 1245 mm wheelbase, and so forth.

It comes with 3 years of standard warranty and three years of optional extended warranty.
