Price Hike and OBD2B Compliance for 2025

Honda has launched the 2025 SP160 motorcycle in India, bringing updates in compliance with OBD2B norms alongside subtle enhancements. The bike continues to be available in two variants: single-disc and dual-disc, priced at Rs. 1,21,951 and Rs. 1,27,956 (ex-showroom) respectively. These prices reflect an increase of Rs. 3,000 and Rs. 4,605 compared to the outgoing model.

Design Updates

The front fascia of the SP160 has been refreshed with a sharper and more angular headlamp design, adding a contemporary edge. While the rest of the bodywork remains largely unchanged, Honda has reduced the available color options from six to four. Riders can now choose from Radiant Red Metallic, Pearl Igneous Black, Pearl Deep Ground Gray, and Athletic Blue Metallic.

New Features

The 2025 SP160 gains a modern 4.2-inch TFT instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity and compatibility with the Honda RoadSync app. This system provides turn-by-turn navigation, call and SMS alerts, and music playback controls. Additionally, Honda has added a USB Type-C charging port for enhanced convenience.

Engine and Performance

The motorcycle retains its 162.71cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine, now upgraded to meet OBD2B emission standards. While the power output has slightly decreased to 13bhp (a drop of 0.2bhp), torque has seen a minor increase to 14.8Nm, ensuring a balanced performance for urban and highway riding.
